"T" is for Turkey

Many of you may not know that today is opening day of Turkey season. I took the day off to go hunting with Pa. It was a chilly, but sunny morning.  As you can see, I had a successful hunt.  Sorry Heather, but I had to take it--Pa says when you have the shot, take it!! It weighed 21 lbs.  As Pa would say:  "nice bird"!

King Kong goes to the farm

That's right-king kong. Pa was given the task to pick out a playset for the grandchildren this spring. After much internet research and pouring over brochures, he has picked it out. If all goes well, it should be installed by early May. So, get ready all you grandchildren--bring your friends, there is room for everybody. The name says it all. Would we excpect anything less from Pa? And there is plenty of options if we decide to add on in a few years as the kids grow. Check it out Sophie, Annie, Em, Laynie and Millie!!!!!

We had lots of great food, lots of eggs and lots of girls at Pa & T's house this week to celebrate Easter. We sure did miss the Sikora family, but we did get to talk on the phone to everyone.  What a blessed day!
