"T" is for Turkey

Many of you may not know that today is opening day of Turkey season. I took the day off to go hunting with Pa. It was a chilly, but sunny morning.  As you can see, I had a successful hunt.  Sorry Heather, but I had to take it--Pa says when you have the shot, take it!! It weighed 21 lbs.  As Pa would say:  "nice bird"!

    I can't believe you are such a ruthless woman! Come on mom...don't do that anymore. Turkey doesn't even taste good.

    Ditto to Heidi's comment. Nothing says "redneck" like a lady wearing hunting clothing and holding a dead turkey upside down. Classy.
